Nano gone…
November 29, 2007
I loved the Nanowrimo this year, but I have to say, I’m kinda glad we’re done (just about) for another year. I support the Nano year round on my sites, but this year just seemed - slippy.
Perhaps its because of Uni, or the other stuff going on in my life, or just because I’m in limbo waiting for my laptop and other stuff to arrive, but my heart hasn’t been in it. I WROTE over 100k in the end, but it didn’t feel like I was really ‘in’ it.
Memory/Meridian will need a revision before I even consider it first draft, but I’m now committed to making sure I do as well as I can in Uni, and spend any spare time IN university writing. I can chat and write at the same time, and I don’t really need to just ‘kill time’ now, so till the laptop arrives, I’m working on pen and paper.
Psychology has also been fun - its been a great contrast to see where the media and psychology meet, and where its WRONG, and right. We finish up next week, and have a portfolio to hand in for our ‘learning and personal development’ and then….
Well, then its supposed to be writing week - so hopefully the new laptop will be here and I can have fun with that.
